Artist statement:
Two broken people desperate for healing reaching out in our individual warfares to the ultimate healer. The use of two canvases stacked on top of each other shows a contrast of shadows which is the closeness of God among us. The circular canvas, a never-ending war internally inflicting “us” and the “waves”. Finally dwelling under His refuge within His wings.
